FILM SCRIPT FOR GUERILLA DAYS IN DEVELOPMENT
GDI are pleased to announce that Neil Pearson has completed a First Draft Screenplay for a film version of Guerilla Days in Ireland.
After working on a various Treatments for several months Neil was signed to London Literary Agent MacFarlane-Chard, who recognised the significance of Tom Barry’s story.
In February he participated in Story Campus at the JDIFF Dublin and had script meetings with Irish and International Writers/Producers such as Terry MacMahon, Michael Holden and Jean-Luc Ormiere. Three months later the first draft was completed.
We are currently seeking Development Funding from the Irish Film Board to further develop opportunities for the script.
2014 Tour Announced
We are pleased to announce that Guerilla Days in Ireland will Tour in August 2014. The production plays in the Everyman Cork and the Olympia Dublin.
Cork August 18th – 23rd.
Dublin August 26th – 31st. Matinees Saturday and Sunday at 3pm.

INEC KILLARNEY – STANDING OVATION
On Wednesday May 1st Guerilla Days played in its largest venue to date – the INEC in Killarney. And once again the many hundreds gave the production an appreciative standing ovation.
Thanks to Ceara, Tadgh and all the staff at the INEC.

Standing Ovation for Guerilla Days in Naas
Guerilla Days Conquers Sligo
As it moves into the final two weeks of Tour 2013, Guerilla Days is continuing to impress audiences throughout Ireland.
Last weeks performances in Sligo won rapturous applause from some very appreciative audiences who rose to their feet – as many thousands have already done – to show their appreciation for the true story of Tom Barry and the heroes of the 3rd west Cork Brigade.
On to the Moat Theatre Kildare.
Standing Ovation for Historic Performance in Derry
Last nights performance in the Millennium Forum was undoubtedly one of the most atmospheric the production has ever experienced. The hush from the audience was palpable as the words of Tom Barry resounded throughout the auditorium; each recollection resonating with the personal stories and experiences of almost every audience member. This was history in the making. A fantastic experience that garnered a rousing standing ovation.

Return to Olympia Theatre a Triumph
The return to the Olympia Theatre was a triumph for the cast and crew of Guerilla Days. And our new cast member did the production proud. Since his arrival Brian has been a wonderful addition to the production and was the “talk of the town” after his first week. Congratulations.
A big thanks must also be extended to our new crew. A fantastic team of people.
On to Waterford and then Derry 2013.
Guerilla Days Tour Finishes
After three months on the road the Guerilla Days Tour 2012 has finally come to an end.
It was without doubt a tremendous success with regular standing ovations and full houses. We performed our final date last Saturday toa SOLD OUT house in Garter Lane. And as on many occasions before, the audience rose to their feet to show their appreciation for the story of Tom Barry and the Volunteers.
Thanks to all those who attended the perfomances and for the messages of support we have received from numerous individuals.
